Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) is a non-ionic cellulose ether made from natural polymer cellulose by etherification. It is an odorless, tasteless and non-toxic white powder that swells into a clarified or slightly turbid colloidal solution in water. It has the characteristics of thickening, dispersing, emulsifying, forming film, absorbing surface activity, retaining water, protecting colloid and so on.

1.Hot-dissolving Type :

When used in dry powder products such as putty powder and cement mortar, there will be clumping phenomenon in liquids and coatings. Not recommended for use in liquids and paints

2.Instant-dissolving Type :

It is quickly dispersed in cold water, and the viscosity begins to rise after a few minutes, and the viscosity gradually becomes larger and is applied to the liquid

HPMC Industrial grade

Additives used as cement, gypsum, lime gelling agent, water retention agent, is an excellent admixture of powder building materials, the most used.

Recommended internal wall putty 8-100,000, external wall putty 10-200,000 viscosity

Ceramic tile adhesive 100,000 to 200,000 viscosity

Coating mortar 100,000-200,000 viscosity

Formula: Sand 600kg+ cement 400kg+ cellulose 2-4kg+ rubber powder 6-12kg+pva1-2+ starch ether 0.5kg, a simple formula

HPMC Pharmaceutical grade

The pharmaceutical is used as a hydrophilic gel skeleton material, pore-causing agent and coating agent for the preparation of sustained release preparations
